Infants 1

The infant room is for children between 8 months to 13 months of age.  We have created a safe, healthy and well-balanced environment to enhance each child’s individual needs. Our Infant classroom is designed to continue focusing on the six developmental domains that are at the center of school and life success.

These six domains are physical health, emotional development, social development, motor development, language development and communication development, and cognitive development.

In this classroom we will begin to introduce circle time where the children will be learning about shapes, colors, numbers, and letters by reading stories, singing songs and more. The Infant classroom spends the majority of their day busily exploring a carefully planned environment. Our teachers understand that infants want to be independent as well as emotionally supported in their daily activities. Infants enjoy a variety of active play both inside and outdoors.

Infant Supplies Required

  • Parents must bring diapers, baby wipes, bibs, burp cloths, and an appropriate drink bottle for each child in the Infants classroom. The staff will communicate when supplies are low.
  • Parents are asked to bring multiple changes of seasonal appropriate clothes for infants. This will allow the staff to provide the optimal level of comfort for your child in case any accidents occur.
  • If the child requires a blanket or special item to sleep it is permitted during naptime.  Please bring items and place in the cubby assigned to your child.
